Rev. Julie O’Neal | Minister
joneal@wnccumc.net
Julie Elliott O’Neal is a native North Carolinian educated at Cary High School, North Carolina State University, and Duke Divinity School Course of Study for Ministry. She has been appointed to nine United Methodist churches in the Western North Carolina Conference over the past twenty years after having served as a teacher on the high school and university levels and as a Christian educator. As the twenty-first century church seems to diverge from the patterns of the past, she finds that the early church described in the book of Acts offers the best example to emulate today, when “With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people” Acts 2:46-47. Julie enjoys travel, reading, picnics, and earnest conversation.
